Our project motivation

     According to PISA studies, a big number of children lack the necessary literacy skills that are required to learn the other subjects, disciplines and to develop the basic key competences, The proper attention must be payed to Literacy from an early age, from the kindergarten period and even earlier.

     In special, this phenomena affects badly the poor and disadvantaged children, the children with disabilities that need a lot of support, love, care and attention in order to be included in the mass kindergarten and become an successful adult. We have to tackle this problems and help them not only in the inclusion process but also in gaining durable basic key-competences (Literacy, Science, Mathematics), develop social and emotional skills, have a positive attitude towards kindergarten, school, lecture, games and nature. Also a strong partnership between parents and teachers must be built, teach parents how to support their children because the children achievements don't reside on parents financial income or status, but on the parents ability to guide them, to help them and have quality time and a relationship full of love, support and respect.

Project Results

      Combining our knowledge and expertise we put together a Didactic Auxiliary, a Methodological Guide that we hope to help as many colleague teacher as possible during their didactic activity, improving their relationship with parents, the use of new technologies in class and the ways the key competences including the Literacy are developed.
